Review: Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation

hello there :)

So this is my first makeup/beauty blog I don't exactly know what to write about so I thought I'd start off with a review of the Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation that I have recently purchased for the first time.

I'd like to start just by saying how in love with this product I am. It's the best foundation I've ever used and well worth the money. With a slightly steep price tag of £24, it's enough to put a lot of people off, not everyone, but some. If you are like myself however, you wouldn't have minded investing in it. Now that's not to say I'm rich and stuck up, in fact, I'm the complete opposite. I actually iron to get my money, and there's not that much of an income with that, so I do have to be careful what I spend. Anyway, that's not the point.

Quite recently, I've had bad breakouts on my face and a lot of redness too. Therefore, I wanted something to cover up my blemishes, even out my skin tone and give my skin a nice, healthy looking glow at the same time. I know that's a lot to ask for and it's hard to find in a foundation, but I was determined to find a foundation that worked for me and did all the things I wanted it to do. So I researched for a long time, read a ton of reviews, went to dozens of places asking for samples. After trying all the samples, I still didnt feel like any of them worked as I would have liked them to.

As I started to get disheartened and wanted to give up on my search and just settled for one that I already had. However, I was searching through beauty videos and came across one of Zoella's (@Zozeebo) videos where she mentioned the Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation. Since she had nothing but good things to say about the product, I just went straight ahead and bought it, I know that it probably wasn't the best thing to do, but I was just fed up and couldn't be bothered to sample it first.

So getting back to the actual product, I really love this foundation. I know it might seem a bit unrealistic for a foundation to do all the things I wanted it to, but it really does. It's a gel like formula and really pigmented, which means you don't need a lot. I literally put a pea-sized amount on the back of my hand and it covers my whole face, which to me is amazing.
This was actually the first Mac product I ever bought, and this was a great first impression of the brand and I've since bought more things from Mac since then.

So that's basically everything I have to say, as you may have read, I absolutely love this product and will definitely buy again. Thank you for taking the time to read this :).
